Here we go!

“It started with Earth.  Humans warred with each other for centuries over land, money, and other petty things.  Then began the space fight: each human wanting to claim a piece for himself.  When it all came crashing down, Earth was the only place to call home.  But, instead of learning from their mistakes, humans started the war again.  Unable to control their greed, but also unable to accomplish anything individually, humans banded together into two factions, and the ultimate war began.  So humans had come to a final showdown after thousands of years of war.  And for thousands of years they had forgotten what they had created to prevent this from happening.  For thousands of years they had forgotten me.  I am Terran Winter, and this is my story.”

Give me comments.  Tell me what you think.

This day ihas been a very weird day.  Of course, it has also been  a very bad day.  I don’t really know what to think now.  Friend who llives a mile from me, please pray.  I was going to have part of my new book on here tonight but i am forced to write this on another computer.   Hopefully i shall have it in the near future.  Until then, have fun, whoever you are, and be counting down the days to The Dark Knight, Brisingr, and Fable II!

Deep End

We are at the proverbial deep end.  Gas prices are soaring, we are losing in our economies, everything is faling, and we just want something to blame.  It was global warming, now it’s global cooling.  They need to make up their minds.  It’s a cycle people!  It’s happened before and now it’s happening again!  According to history record, the time is close for us to be experiencing a Small Ice Age!  We should use history but most everybody just wants to ignore the past and keep on making the same mistakes.  We’re having arguements over the stupidest things, and we have one of the worst possible candidates running for office now.

Our morals need to raise or it’s all gonna end.  Kids can’t even read at 16 years old!  The don’t even know who Asimov is!  Or even who Bach is!  This is bad and we need to act on it soon before our world comes craching down around our ears.

THE END OF THE WORLD (OR IS THAT REDUNDANT?)

Our world is coming quickly to an end.  Our society is at an economic and educational fall, falling right through the mist of history.  How’s that for poetry?  It was predicted, not just in the Bible, but even Ray Bradbury predicted it over 50 years ago, and he didn’t even know about the stuff he was refering to!  He predicted wall size TV’s.  He predicted, in excess, iPods.  Remember the Seashell ear pieces?  What does it remind you of?  We are switching everything to computers and justifying it by saying that it makes kids more entertained.  That is our society.  We can’t hurt their feelings…We can’t make them do something that is not fun…We can’t offend them by sending them to jail for murder, because the Devil made them do it!  What the freaking crap!?!  What happened to the society where movies with any kind of language in them were in X-Rated adult theatres.  I’ll tell you what happened.  It grew.  What started out a society where everything riske’ was looked down upon.  Then people started to lighten up a bit…then a little more…then a little more…and more and more and more until we don’t even notice anymore!!!!!  Nobody notices that they show nudity in PG-13 movies, or that language has seeped its way into G-Rated movies.  Next thing you know, a PG movie is going to be like a XXX-Rated.  This is the same way that Communists gained control of Russia.  They didn’t let the people see anything but Communism, so in the end, people actually bought it!  Why does our society insist on these things as our “legal rights”?  Because anything else doesn’t get ratings.  It’s all about ratings.  It reminds me of a Far Side cartoon, where they showed Aliens studying humans.  The alien’s deduction was that we spend most of our time watching a hypnotizing box!  It’s called a TV, my friends!  Get real ad watch out!

Hello world!

Toast, Toast, Toast, Toast, and more Toast!  Since this is my very first post, i thought that i would give you an idea of what i’m like.  I like toast.  And i like Christmas.  I also like writing and playing video games.  I think a whole bunch like Matt Cardin, who was my English teacher.  I agree with Mr. Cardin on almost all accounts, especially about the down fall of human culture and society.  We make fun of Arkansas, and yet we are slowly, but surely, becoming more and more like them.  I am typing all of this with a broken wrist as well, so typos might happen and it’s also painfully, painfully slow.  I am totally random, basically saying anything that just pops into my mind.  I enjoyWinter more than anything, but also enjoy hiking, flying, climbing, and diving.  Woah! Got a little Dr. Seusy there for a second!  One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish.  Did you know that Dr. Seus wrote the book “Green Eggs and Ham” on a bet?  He was bet that he couldn’t write a book using only fifty words.  Not fifty words all together, just the same fifty words. ‘ “I will not eat them in a box.  I will not eat them with a fox.  I will not eat green eggs and ham.  I do not like them Sam I Am!” ‘ See , that’s what I mean by random!  I mean, I mostly just go around saying Toast!, or Merry Christmas!  “Life is like a box of chocolates.  You never know what your gonna’ get!”  Of course, I believe that we knew and that we know what we were and are getting ourselves into this time!  Our society is so going to “Hell in a Handbasket”, literally!  We, of all the nations on the earth, should know by now to learn from our past!  Theodore Roosevelt believed history to be important, and believed that we should study as much as possible to learn form our mistakes!  We are sending ourselves into a new Dark Age!  It’s all down hill from here.  Our society reached its high long ago, and don’t believe the freakin’ idiots who say our society is in a new Golden Age of Learning!  We are in no Golden Age, we are more in a Dark age of the cavemen!  it’s so easy, a cave man could do it!  Everything in our society is about being freakin’ easy or not hurting anyone’s freakin’ feelings!  We need to cut the crap, and we need to do it now!
